2. This laser is Class 4, the most dangerous category. Safety training and special laser beam protective equipment are required to use lasers in any application. Laser radiation can be harmful, even if the wavelength is not visible to the naked eye.

3. Use only safety glasses suitable for the wavelength of this unit. Other specialized safety equipment is also required. Do not use standard cutting glasses or welding helmets while operating this equipment. Only use safety glasses and face shields rated for 1080nm wavelengths.

4. The purchase of this laser welder may require registration with local and state authorities. Please identify any registration-related issues or concerns prior to purchase. Contact your local and state authorities prior to purchase for information on registering your laser welders. Everlast does not maintain a list for each state or lists of general registration requirements. Using a laser in your business may require compliance with additional ANZI guidelines, apart from the use of conventional arc welders. It may also require special training and certifications that involve additional investment and costs. In businesses with employees, you may need to designate a Laser Safety Officer with full training and certification, and additionally train operators and nearby personnel in laser safety and use.
